How is the conversion rate calculated?

The conversion rate is the percentage of visitors who complete a goal within an experiment. 

The conversion rate for a variation = number of conversions for a variation/number of unique visitors for a variation 

For example, if a variation receives 10,000 unique visitors, and of those visitors, only 500 visitors place an order, then your conversion rate = 500/10,000 = 5%
