How Can I Delete A Variation From An Experiment?
WARNING: DELETING A VARIATION WILL REMOVE ALL CHANGES YOU MADE IN THAT VARIATION. You will have no way to retrieve any of these changes.
Deleting a variation will remove ALL the changes you made to that variations and there is NO way to retrieve them. If you did not launch the experiment, please follow these instructions:
1. Navigate to step 4 of the experiment setup page.
2. Scroll down to the Experiment Variations section. 3. Locate the action menu next to each variation. Please note, If you want to disable to the variation, select disable.
4, If you want to delete the variation, click on edit. Figpii will navigate you to the editor.
5. select the action menu below the variation you want to delete. 6. Select Delete.
7. FigPii will prompt you to confirm the deletion of the variation. 8. Click OK.
If the experiment is running, please follow these instructions:
WARNING: DELETING AN ACTIVE VARIATION WILL MOST LIKELY INVALIDATE ALL OF YOUR DATA. A better approach is to copy the experiment and delete the variation you want to delete.
1. Navigate to the AB testing dashboard.
2. Click on the Running tab 3. Locate the action menu next to the experiment and select pause. Your experiment will be paused and no longer will it receive any visitors. 4. Click on the paused tab: 5. Locate the action menu next to the experiment name. Click on edit. 6. FigPii will direct you to the experiment configuration page
7. Scroll down to the Experiment Variations section 8. Locate the action menu next to each variation Please note, If you want to disable to the variation, select disable.
9, If you want to delete the variation, click on edit. Figpii will navigate you to the editor.
10. select the action menu below the variation you want to delete 10. Select Delete
11. FigPii will prompt you to confirm the deletion of the variation 12. Click OK.
