How Do I Target Specific URLs When Running An AB Test?
FigPii allows you to target specific URLs for your AB test. This functionality will come in handy if you want to run a test on specific pages. Examples:
- Running a test on the product or category pages for an ecommerce site.
- Running a test on the blog posts for a blogging site.
FigPii allows you to use URL patterns to run site-wide tests and on multiple pages.

Targeting multiple pages in AB experiment
Follow these steps to target specific URLs
- Start by navigating to the "create new experiment page"
- Fill the experiment name
- Click on "Page Targeting"
- Select if you want to run the test on a specific page or multiple pages. Since we are running the test on multiple pages, then select
- FigPii will open a section that allows you to specify how the URLs should be identified.
- Select if you want to include or exclude URLs for this test
- Specify the URL pattern.
- Specify the Preview URL - Since your experiment will run on all the pages that match the URL you entered, FigPii will use the Preview URL to show you how the different variations will appear to users.

- Select "Include" from the dropdow
- Select the type of match for the URL pattern
- Input the URL pattern
- If you want to include multiple URL patterns, click on "Add Another URL Targeting"

- Input the URL pattern
- If you want to include multiple URL patterns, click on "Add Another URL Targeting"
Adding multiple includes in the URL patternThere are instances where you add several includes in the URL patterns:
In these cases, FigPii will use an "OR" operator between these URLs. So, if the visitor visits a page that matches ANY of the parameters that you put, then the test is served.

In these cases, FigPii will use an "OR" operator between these URLs. So, if the visitor visits a page that matches ANY of the parameters that you put, then the test is not served.
Add includes and excludes in the URL patternThere are instances where you want to include some URLs and exclude others.
In these cases, FigPii will use an "OR" operator between these URLs. So, if the visitor visits a page that matches ANY of the parameters that you put, then the test is served.
